Using Mise-en-scene to create genre stills
Using Mise-en-scene we created six stills of different genres. We did this in order to understand what different aspects of Mise-en-scene go into each different genre of film. We also did it so that we could look out for these in the future and can easily know the genre of a film. Teen We used character expression and movement to express the anger the character is feeling. We also used the setting of a school and set of school lockers, theses are often associated with Teen films as it is a setting where teens spend most of their life. Romance For Romance we used character expression and proxemics to clearly show the affection between the two characters. We also used the setting of a fairly sunny day, giving the feeling of them being content and comfortable in the situation.
