Kuleshov Effect
The Kuleshov Effect The Kuleshov effect is a film editing effect demonstrated by soviet film maker lev Kuleshov in the 1910s and 1920s. It is the idea in which viewers derive more meaning from the interaction of two shots than from a single shot by itself. After watching this video explaining the effect, we created our own series of Kuleshov effects. If we had time we could have filmed another reaction to follow a different set of shots. We could have also made sure that the eyeline of the individual matched where they were supposedly looking.
