Remake of a short film 'Script'

After watching a collection of one minute short films, we chose to create a remake of the short film 'Script'. We decided that we would make certain improvements to the original, such as making the clock sound louder. We also decided that we would also make sure that the character Jenny, would actually sit down next to the author, like the script says.

With our remake we used a different sound effect. This effect included a ticking clock, as well as background music that increased in its intensity as the film developed. This worked well as it created a tense atmosphere and foreshadowed that something significant was about to happen. The original film had music that was too sombre and didn't really fit with the tension of the situation.

However, our lighting was not an improvement. we filmed in a brightly lit classroom that took away from some of the tension of the situation. Whereas, the original film was filmed in a dimly lit room which created a more tense and menacing atmosphere.
