Presenation Feedback



We created a presentation to convey our short film idea, and gain feedback on what to change and improve.


Feedback 1



  • I will take into account that my documentary could end up having a small amount of a commercial aspect to it. However I do not want to have it take over the documentary, as I still want its main aim to be making people aware. 
  • I also agree with the idea that I definitely shouldn't linger on the negativity of it too long, but  make sure to end on a positive note.  

  •  I will remember to not make it to complicated and stick to the simplicity of it. 


  • I will spend time looking at previous campaigns and documentaries to get ideas. 
  • I want to make the audience aware of assistance dogs and how much of a positive impact they have on people.
  • I want the music to emphasise the mood. so when she is reflecting on before she had the dog and how hard it was, I would have more sombre, sad piano music. Then when she is talking about the positive impact  of the dog, it will be more joyful, happy music.

I plan to add a narration talking about cerebral palsy  and when Jess was diagnosed with it. Here is a rough version of the narration:  Jess,24, suffers from cerebral palsy. She was diagnosed at the age of???. Cerebral palsy is a group of lifelong conditions that affect a person’s movement and co-ordination. Ideas for my final film

First Idea- The Effects of Anxiety One idea that I have is to create a short film on anxiety, and how it effects different people. One way I could do this could be through the eyes of someone with anxiety and how it prevents them from doing daily tasks.  I could also do this through having a physical creature or person that symbolises someone's anxiety.  I could go about this by interviewing people anxiety, and how it effects their everyday life.  I watched a few of videos to get some inspiration for a short film on anxiety.  What Having Anxiety Feels Like This was a video including the narration of a sufferer from anxiety. She tells us about all the physical symptoms she experiences, and yet doesn't notice. She also uses metaphors and similes, such as 'My anxiety feels like fire.', to describe how she feels on a daily basis.  It also includes black and white footage.
